More specifically, how do you copy/download a YouTube Transcript when the “3 dots” button that you hit to go to “Transcript” does not offer this? Some videos only show “Report” when hitting the 3 dots button as there is no transcript available. I have seen apps or websites that require payment, but does anyone know of a free app/ website that will transcribe Youtube videos? I appreciate your help, thanks.😊

I'm trying to develop a taste for classical music and a little of opera on the side. There is never a wrong time to widen out own appreciation for things related to the arts and culture. Now in my twilight years, my taste for music has evolved somewhat from that which I had been listening to in my youth. I really didn't have time or inclination to delve into multiple genres in the past but with time on my side now, it seems good to listen to some of the master pieces of time gone by. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/01/arts/music/classical-music-mozart.html?action=click&module=RelatedLinks&pgtype=Article 5 Minutes That Will Make You Love Mozart Mitsuko Uchida, pianist There are so many moments. “Giovanni” has everything. “Figaro” is perfect. And “Così,” that is one piece I would take with me to a desert island: the duet for Fiordiligi and Ferrando, which I do not think is cynical music, and the trio “Soave sia il vento,” which brings tears to my eyes every time the strings start playing. But K. 545, the “Sonata Facile,” is one of the most amazing pieces, and I have always loved it. The slow movement is the twin of the aria “Dalla sua pace.”

Job 39 : 1 - 15 Do you know the time when the mountain goats give birth? Have you watched the deer give birth to their young? 2 Do you count the months that they must complete? Do you know the time when they give birth? 3 They crouch down when they give birth to their young, And their labor pains end. 4 Their young become strong and grow up in the open field; They go out and do not return to them. 5 Who set the wild donkey free, And who untied the ropes of the wild donkey? 6 I have made the desert plain its home And the salt land its dwelling. 7 It scorns the tumult of the city; It does not hear the shouts of the driver. 8 It roams the hills, seeking pasture, Looking for every green plant. 9 Is the wild bull willing to serve you? Will it spend the night in your stable? 10 Will you hold a wild bull to the furrow with a rope, Or will it follow you to plow the valley? 11 Will you trust in its great strength And let it do your heavy work? 12 Will you rely on it to bring back your harvest, And will it gather it to your threshing floor? 13 The wings of the ostrich flap joyfully, But can her pinions and plumage compare with the stork’s? 14 For she leaves her eggs on the ground, And she keeps them warm in the dust. 15 She forgets that some foot may crush them Or that a wild animal may trample them.

I've been noticing that to really grasp as much information as is found packed into our rich new videos (especially the introduction to Bible books), it helps if I pause and resume the video often, whenever something hits me that I need to really think about in order to take in. Well, one of the few youtube series I actually watch just featured this video about educational technology (highly recommend!) and the first few minutes of it talk about how to best grasp information in video form (including changing the playback speed, which you can do if you download the intro videos from the website and use something like VLC to play them) as well as pausing, as I mentioned. Also, she mentions that when you pause, try to intuit what might come next; this is surprisingly similar to the suggestion in the Benefit book about surveying material before reading it, and actually asking yourself "what do I expect I will learn?"

I have a personal project (I don't know if I will ever complete it) but here it is: to watch every single video ever released on our websites at least once. To do this, I need a list of all videos released on jw.org (our official site) and tv.jw.org (ie: JW Broadcasting). Then I will make a Master list (probably with an Excel file) and keep track with a checkmark which videos I have seen. Because let's face it, with over a couple hundred videos, it's tough to remember which I ones I've seen and which ones I haven't. Now, I can get a list of the 180 videos thus far released on jw.org from this site: https://www.jw.org/en/videos/?start=0 This is really great, however, it doesn't seem to include all the videos from JW Broadcasting. The Video on Demand section is a maze of videos, each with sections and sub-sections: https://tv.jw.org/#en/video Has anyone compiled a list of all the videos from JW Broadcasting? Or does anyone have any ideas on the easiest way to do this?

I have been trying to find everywhere a way to present all the videos! Before I go into detail, some background info: I have gone to the video page located on Jw.org and have painfully (but refresh-ly) downloaded every single video in HD. I then had to rename all videos for sorting sake. From there, I transferred it to iTunes and into my iPad via the videos app. That was great, because it had all the pictures to go with the videos, so you could see it. Come iOS 8. It changed everything, now my videos look horrid with no pictures to quickly navigate. After months of trying to find new ways (I tried using the Podcast app, and began making my own art for the pictures to the videos) today I have finally found a way. The VLC Media Player Pro on the iTunes Store is great. You add every video from JW.org through itunes via the app section. You have all the art pictures to the video (see pictures) and what is more, you can view nearly every single video format because it's a VLC player. Also, you can make folders, which is very helpful to organize things like the Become Jehovah's Friend series or whiteboards or ect. And there are more features for the video player. You can change the way the video looks by brightness ect and even chose replay more for table witnessing.
