Here is a crude example of "Focus Stacking." Three pics taken with a cell phone, handheld on top of a tripod. Each pic had a different focus point.  Using Adobe Photoshop Elements + I used "Focus Stack" to combine the Focus of all three pics to make pick 4.  With a proper camera used properly on a tripod, this can be done in 4K with outstanding results.

Normally one would not need to crop this much but because the camera was handheld and the wind was blowing with bright sunlight bouncing off a wall this is what I get. All four pics were reduced in size to 25% of original.

I was in a boat so I won't make excuses for the picture being "downhill"

That particular lake (Lake Alto) is only about 573 acres. It is a bit small but plenty deep enough for water skiing. The nearby University uses it for practice and training for rowing.

If someone really wants to water ski, it would be better to go to the another lake that connects to this lake by a now-impassable canal (Lake Santa Fe).  This larger lake is more than 10 times larger and deeper.

They are both good for fishing or relaxing.

BTW - as for the lakes in this area .....

Most have a nice variety of Bream, Speck' (speckled perch) the Florida Crappie, Bass (a wide variety of them), Catfish as well as some quite undesirable fish like Gar and Mudhish as well as Gators.

We have a couple of lakes nearby that are well known for the number and size of the Alligators.

I should also mention that these lakes also have a number of frogs, including "Bullfrogs" that have very distinctive calls/croaking. The reason I mention this is because, as loud as these frogs can get, when you hear the bellow of a "bull gator" you will NOT confuse it with the bellow of a frog. The bull gator is much deeper, much louder and much longer in duration. It is a one-of-a-kind sound.

Post some pics of your roses when they bloom. Two more months and our rose season will be all but over.

They say you should break off all the buds so all the energy goes to the flower the first year but I never had the heart to do that. Our blooming season is end of April to end of October. There are roses in November and December but the rain usually ruins most of them. I usually do my fall pruning in Nov. as I am usually tired of caring for 200 bushes by then + I don't want to wait to clean up all the fallen leaves.

Our old "Got Hay?" sign in the front yard was looking pretty ratty, so, when my baby sister came to visit last week,

I had her help me make a new one with a fresh round bale:

The REAL sign ^_^ has our entire phone # on it.

My brother/brother sent me this pic:
