Took my Mom on a color tour to ooh and ahhh over Jehovah's incredibly beautiful creation.

It was a glorious day, even though the

colors are very muted this year.

 

I am blessed to live next to state and national forests.  

Lots of unspoiled scenery right in my own backyard.

Makes me so happy to see pic's of where you friends live. So much unique beauty. Annie, I really love the pic's you take, beautiful area. Ross you live in an area similar to ours, lots of color, I think you have more leaves but it's woodsy like us, nice.

Wasabi is Japanese Horseradish and it put my wife in the hospital.

When we had it years ago, I told her it was horseradish, she no it's wasabi.

After we got back from the hospital, we looked it up. Yup , it is a horseradish.

I could tell by the way it cleaned my sinuses, only horseradish does it to me in that way.

My wife says same about Korean fermented cabbage ( Kimchi ). Hmm, maybe it's demented cabbage. . Haven't tried it.

WallyMart in the US has Vlassic brand sliced jalapenos 1.8 L jar for about $4 ( different WallyMarts differ by a dime ).

About 3 or 4 years ago we got 3 jars ( a couple for friends ) that must have been mixed with habeneros.

Normally I can eat about a dozen on cheese and crackers. That batch at 4, I was sweating.
