One of my goats.

I love goats!  I got a baby goat when it was only three days old, bottle fed it and had her as a pet for 18 years.

Her name was Cindy Lou, the cool, poo-hoo goat.  She was half nubien and half french/alpine and naturally hornless.

Until you have a goat of your own, you cannot fully appreciate Jesus' illustrations contrasting them from sheep. :D

Adrianne, your dog almost looks like a solid, dark colored version of my youngest daughters tan/brown dog.

Her dog is 1/2 chihuahua and half bisenji

We got Max (sometimes I call him old old dog) from a rescue.  His mother was owned a homeless man.   DH saw him under the couch ( where we got him) with his front paws peeking out from under the couch.

He picked him up, and Max wet all over, a real gyser.     That cinched it.  He was ours to take home.

Supposedly the mother was a husky and who knows what the father was.

The family took the mother and puppies home and then tried to find homes for all off them.

Greg, are you on a boat or on one of the islands?

Here was my sunrise this morning, it's getting lighter earlier every day this is about 6:40 this morning at work, I love this view.

(Those are recovered stolen crab pots back there)

SWEET! I really look forward to when we can meet, I remember that waterfront as a 7 year old. I was raised in Goble for a while, then Kelso and Longview. Rainier is just an extension of those places. Mom and dad raised in St. Helens and I have a few friends in the St. Helens/Scappoose cong. (which is it, St. Helens or Scappoose now?) Small world.

There's a Tractor Supply in Longview I can't wait to get to, have a galvanized ring I need for planting carrots and my lilies.  Sorry, almost TMI.

Ohhh, love the rooster avatar

Well, that makes sense, since fish is seafood

I'm with you on not eating fish - My wife loves it, especially catfish

This picture has been hanging in the Assembly Hall dining room for years, I just found out that it was painted and donated by Margaret Keene..

I was looking for any large eyes; there looks like a child being carried by it's mother..

I don't think she would paint any of those for an assembly hall with her signature big eyes. They would look too out-of-place in a center of worship. But the eyes of that child do indeed look like Margaret Keane's style.

She did for the Yuba City Assembly Hall. I'll try to find a picture for you..

Today I was working with a sister that was was talking to sister Keane at their last assembly and sister Keane personally told her about the picture

Yes, I had seen those a couple of years ago. But as noted above, no big eyes! Somehow, they just wouldn't "fit" in an Assembly Hall.

One of favorite spots to take a photo. It had rained most of the day. Wind was starting to pickup, we are expecting pretty cool temps for the next few days.

I remember working with a bro and sis in Russian territory aboard the Russian ships that came into Astoria Port, kinda out of my comfort zone but happy with the memories.

Apparently they tried a new distributor and things ran afoul..

They stuck their neck out to get a leg up on their production..

They are barely making it on a wing and a prayer but promise to stay abreast of the situation..

They are thigh deep in trouble but at least they aren't being chicken about it.

Well, out of the fire and into the frying pan, I'm sure thing will be clucking soon..
