Pepto  Bismol.  Yuk. I never liked it when I made it back in early 70s.

Now I did like the cough medicine I made. Elixir Terepin Hydrate with codeine.

42% label claim alcohol. You were scared to cough afterwards.🤕

I took myself off of omeprazole and simvastatin. I take Pepto bismol and tums. As for simvastatin, my cholesterol ratio is normal, so I don't want to take medicine for a heart attack I haven't had yet. I have heard that the two meds I nixed can cause kidney and liver damage/ failure. I have also read that there are more amusing methods if one wants to end up with kidney/liver damage. Pepto Bismol ain't looking so bad, after all.

I don't know if there are any rxs around for cough medicine with codeine, but it sure made coughs stop in their tracks. You sound like a formulating pharmacist. I might have already known that.

Pepto mint flavoring at 1/3 oz is deadly. In Mexico they had a licorice flavor. 🤔

How much is in those pink bottles?

Just a trace.  Methyl Salycilate, NF was a liquid about 1.5 Kg  worth in 200 Liters ( approx 50 oz per 55 Gal US ).🤢

I was a liquid room compounder for Cdn operation of Norwich Pharmaceuticals in Paris, ON back in early 70's.

They pulled out of Canada mid to late 70's. Dow Chemical took over for awhile then Proctor & Gamble

took over & moved product lines to Toronto area.

Happiness is goggling places and homes where you used to live, feeling very nostalgic and weepy, and then remembering that better times are just ahead.

Happiness is remembering the holidays where you had your whole family alive and around you, feeling weepy knowing that a third and then some are gone, and then remembering that you'll see them again...if only you'll be good, lol.

OMG! And happiness is seeing, somehow, a cute little doggie below your message here and trying to figure out he got there when all you did was press the edit button, so you say to yourself "oh well."

I had a hearing appointment/test today ...

During the test he asked me if I ever hear a ringing in my ears ...

Didn't think of it at the time, but, I realized later I have been hearing a ringing in my ears - it started about a week ago - I seem to hear it everytime I go in or out of a big-box store ...

Do you suppose this could be why?

Spoiler

I went to the doctor because I had a strange stabbing pain in one eye.

Did you hear the one about Santa no longer uses reindeers? Nope, he uses cars. I saw it on a commercial. And Rudolph is no longer the name of the deer with the red shiny nose. It's now Ruddy.

And people wonder what's wrong with children these days. Well they need to ask their god. He cant even get his lies straight.
