“The Adventures of Nimitz and Samantha in Catland” by William Scott Anderson

Since there is interest in books by authors who are in the truth, some here might be interested in my latest book, my seventh book. The book was requested by my youngest son. It is the bed time stories I told them when my boys were younger. My boys, like many kids these days, are very much into cats. Each night I would tell them an adventure story about our cats. I thought a book for children should be illustrated, I included 103 hand drawn pictures. The reason I did hand drawn pictures, is because I have never been very good at drawing with my feet. The pictures are simple line drawings and I also published the illustrations by themselves as a coloring book. If your kids love the book, they may like coloring the pictures, or if you think my drawings are poor, you can redraw them in the coloring book. There are 34 chapters and each chapter is a stand-alone story that is part of the overall story. The book is set up, that you can read one chapter aloud to your kids as a bed time story, or they can read the whole book at their own pace. The book is a cross between Winne the Pooh, Cats and science fiction. I like for children’s stories to fun and get them to think. The plots make sense and have cause and effect outcomes that teach or illustrate basic science and deductive reasoning. The stories are designed to jump start young minds, get them excited and thinking. There is a lot of humor in the book designed to get kids laughing. I like for my books to cheer people up and make them feel better. An author’s job is to entertain and to expand minds. My cat book is titled, “The Adventures of Nimitz and Samantha in Catland” by William Scott Anderson

You can check out my other books at my author page, including a book on how the flood happened. My science fiction series, a book on how to heat and cool your home for less and my humor book on self-levitation that is really about how people live in a fantasy world of their own making, without even realizing it. Be sure to read author description, the guy is a real nut.

Love the author bio and LOL at the description of how people view you when you talk science.  I have been the recipient of many such looks myself.

I have a background in biological sciences, nanotechnology and more recently the field of immunology for my own interest sake.  I am also writing a purely science fiction book, not the spaghetti kind because well to my knowledge there remains no female authors who are in the same sphere of science fiction like Arthur C. Clarke.

As weirdness would have it, my book was centered around proxima centauri and a planet that had escaped notice.....about four months ago, they actually discovered something in the area LOL so I seem to have been writing the future :P the title is Nebulae Sky.

Ill have to pick up your novels, love to read and dont do enough of it.

I know what you mean literally since I have a simular plot device in my second science fiction book. The announcement was quite the surprise and left me wondering how close the real planets will turn out to be to the ones I imagined.

Any idea when your book will out? If you are self publishing,  I recommend Createspace which I have used for most of my books. Be sure to post a notice here when it is out. I am always interested in science fiction by someone who actually knows science, it seems to be very rare.

Sorry, didn't see this until now!  I'm still plucking away at my story line.  I'll check out createspace, I haven't decided whether I will self publish or not, but I'm leaning that way.
