New adult beverage

Ok, I know this sounds awful. If I didn't make the mistake and then drink it myself I wouldn't believe it.

 

I got done with a very difficult day and was ready for a gin and tonic. Poured the gin over a full glass of ice, lime gin. Then, as I reached in the fridge for the tonic, I stared at the coffee maker thinking about morning coffee (ugh, wish u girls could just do one thing at a time) I grabbed the cream and proceeded to put cream on my gin! Gag, yes I did. I only put as much as in a coffee. Not wanting to waste good gin I simply filled the rest of the glass with tonic. You know what? It's really, really good! Tastes like Captain Morgan's Loco Nut. That stuff is way to sweet for me but lime gin, cream and tonic is perfect....and low carb too! Be brave and try it.

Mmmm I likes me a Gin and Tonic, and its also nice to know that I'm not the only one who reaches into the fridge and grabs the wrong thing.  Happens all the time.  Must be an age thing.  The other day I found the mayo in the freezer.  DOH!

Actually gin and cream is the basis for literally 100’s of popular and classic cocktails.  It is not strange the combination at all! Old recopes from the 1800’s center around these two ingredients.

There was nothing wrong with the way it was      it wasn't broken - if it ain't broke, don't try to fix it !!!!

 

Putting disgusting gin into good cream just ruins the cream ..... it can't harm the gin since gin is already no good

Oh poo poo John, this 'mistake' has launched me into a new revelation of Gin appreciation. I'm now drinking this concoction for the 3rd time. (Thank-you Leslie for defending me!) MH grimaces when he makes it for me but it's really great. I'm enjoying it.

Ya Richard, I've had some rough days for about 2 months now. Getting tired of it. Ready for a boring day after work! But, since I'm participating in the remodel of a local KH now I guess boredom will have to wait till February. Sigh, just in time to start the garden....

 

But the gin, cream and tonic will be there to smooth my way through!

The one and only time I drank gin...  (with tonic) it did not agree with me. Like instantaneously. I don't know if it was thegin or the tonic, but I avoid both now.

Ohhh, that's too bad Norma. I've heard some don't get along with tonic because of the quinine. (Can't possible be the GIN!.)
