Fast forward to the 2:15 mark and you'll seee how the moon landing was done    According to the X-Files.

Yup, that was originally done to fool the Russians into thinking the US had won the space race.

But, it looked like the full weight of earth’s gravity was felt on that “hop” to the ground. 

It’d be hard/impossible to mimic the moon’s pull that’s only 16% of earth’s.

 

Oh, and, yeah, there’s no way the Russians would have given up that easily if there was any evidence of a conspiracy.

EVERYONE knows you can't use that while discussing conspiracies. 

 

I cracked up when I saw this part of the first episode. I haven't finished watching it yet. Are there any other xfile fans hee?

All you would need is a wire like Hollyweird uses all the time. 

Just add a spring component that allows for a 300 pound person  (with suit and gear) to only have a <50 pound footprint.
