What a surprise!!

Recommended Posts

I took Sophie (my little 4 legged companion) out for just a short ride in my truck this afternoon. Just to relax and enjoy the beautiful day. It’s been a long week of road trips back and forth bring my spiritual mom up to see her hubby at the hospital and than rest home.

Anyway, when Sophie and I got back home an envelope fell out of the door. 😳😳😳😳😳😳 When I opened it up there was cash inside. 😳😳😳😳😳😳 I read it as $20, but my eyes deceived me.  😳😳😳😳😳 it was a $50 bill!!!

The card was not signed, the friend just signed it brother & sister.

I’m thinking wait just a minute. It’s a week before the Convention. They could use this cash 💰. How loving.

The card said for helping others, etc, etc.

Well, I feel this is what Jehovah wants us to do. This is what we are receiving counsel for in this week’s Watchtower study.

Unfortunately, I think I recognize the sister’s handwriting. So since they seem to want to remain anonymous I will respect their wishes.

I am grateful to these dear friends as I pumped a lot of gas ️ this week. But again I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love being with the friends.

Back when I was about 20 and a Regular Pioneer - I received a cashier's check/bank draft  in the mail. Since it was a this sort of check - it does not say who sent it .... it just comes from the bank.

I never did find out who gave it to me but, just like you, it came at just at the right time to let me continue in my pioneer service and make the Convention.

Yes, even if you "think" you know who it is from - let them have their happiness of giving and their anonymity and thank Jehovah for their love

O absolutely! I wouldn’t want to maybe embarrass them as well. It will just endear me more to them.
