Officers launched 28 raids on Jehovah's Witness homes in May, often forcing

entry, threatening occupants with weapons and seizing literature and other

items. Under criminal investigation are 8 Jehovah's Witnesses in pre-trial

detention, 1 under house arrest and at least 11 under travel restrictions.

Two others are already on trial.

1) The Russian government bans JW.org, saying that it is extremist.

2) People not overly interested in the past, their curiousity peaked, visit there to investigate

3) They see it plainly is not.

4) ??

The sufferings of our brothers are not in vain.

A thought on this: The organization was very smart to expose the true motives of the Russian Government by adhering to their demands. Our brothers removed "extremist" materials from both the website and KHs. So they were not breaking any laws on "extremism". So why are they banned?

Why are they banned for obeying the "law"?

I find it curious that the police raid homes of our brothers and sisters, "often forcing entry, threatening occupants with weapons." Why would they do that? Are the weapons for when we fight back? Of course not! Perhaps the Russian government makes the police do that in order to make the claim that our worship provokes violence, and therefore should be classified as "extremist." The reasoning would be very flimsy though.
