Sunday, June 10

Approach the throne of undeserved kindness with freeness of speech.—Heb. 4:16.

Jehovah in his undeserved kindness grants us the blessing of approaching his heavenly throne in prayer. He has afforded us this privilege through his Son, “by means of whom we have this freeness of speech and free access with confidence through our faith in him.” (Eph. 3:12) Free access to Jehovah in prayer is indeed a wonderful expression of his undeserved kindness. Paul encouraged us to approach Jehovah freely in prayer, “so that we may receive mercy and find undeserved kindness to help us at the right time.” (Heb. 4:16b) At any time that we are plagued with trials or turmoil in our life, we can cry out to Jehovah for his merciful help. Undeserving as we are, he answers our call, often through fellow Christians, “so that we may be of good courage and say: ‘Jehovah is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’”—Heb. 13:6. w16.07 3:12, 13

For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.

Everyone have this opportunity  to get to Jehovah through Jesus. That gives hope to us all imperfect humans. Thank you Jehovah for your Son.

“Just as you want men to do to you, do the same way to them.”

This is an amazing scripture ... because only on the basis of Jesus' ransom can we lowly sinful creatures approach the lofty throne of Jehovah directly ... and speak to him with humility and respect as one would a beloved friend. I too, am grateful to Jesus for giving us the opportunity to form this sacred allegiance with his Father.

It's like Jesus has built this amazing bridge over the chasm that was caused by Adam and Eve, so we can freely communicate with our Father, like we should have.

<p>"Jehovah chooses to either 'reveal' or 'conceal' - cherish what he reveals and be patient with what he conceals."

We should NEVER be too busy to talk to Jehovah. Our friendship with him is our most prized possession. By having this unrestricted approach to Jehovah we can pour our hearts to him. We can tell him our anxieties, fears concerns, etc. and know that he will hear them. This undeserved gift of freeness of speech is truly precious when we use it to preach to others about Jehovah, his Son, and his Kingdom that will rule very soon.
May we never take this for granted!!
