Videos playing in wrong language.

Android version 4.4.2     Lenovo tablet.

 

I have experienced this for the first time just now.

When I  played the video related to Luke 10:13  Capernaum,Chorazin and Bethsaida

I get the playback in a language other than English

This happens also on the next video The road from Jerusalem to Jericho.

The other videos are Ok and play in English

Is this a bug?

Using version 10.5

I just downloaded the video on my Android 6 device (RCA tablet) and it works fine in English.  So I can't comment on the language issue.

It’s a sign maybe for you to learn that language! 😉

Check the main language setting on your device. What about the language(s) you have added in your JW app? Maybe you downloaded it in one of those by mistake.

 

I have several languages selected and it’s easy to download the “wrong” one or the one you specifically wanted.

 

EG. Your main tablet language is in English but you have the “Meetings” section in Spanish because you wanted to check something out in Spanish. Then if you click on the “Media” for that meeting, it would also download it in Spanish and not English.

 

Hope that makes sense. Maybe not, knowing me!

You have to update the Study Bible and then it should play in your language.
