Study note differences on IPad

Recommended Posts

On my IPad Study Bible> John chap2 Verse 6 >study note.

After the note on "liquid measures" and before the link to > b Mr 7:3

I have a picture captioned “Stone Jars”

On my wife’s iPad there is no picture.

Also sometimes I have a link to a different book like “see study note on …..” but she often does not have that link but has the information in the study note for the book she is looking at . In other words I have to click on the link to see the study note but she does not.

I have checked that we both have the same IOS 11.4.1  and the JW app is updated on 4th Sept. So I wonder why we have these differences to the study Bible notes?

Any ideas?

(PS: All other settings are the same on the app and on the iPad)

Update the Study Bible, same place where you dowload foreign language Bibles and versions,

Jmystro is correct. It is necessary to keep your study Bible up to date as new material is added from time to time.

He lights up my path.

I check JW library for updates daily.

1) for Android, I swipe the daily text area downward for update.

2) Bible, I check the languages tab

3) publications, I note the pending updates field

4) media. I check the pending updates field.

If updated daily, you'll get the latest from the faithful slave.

"there was Jehovah’s word for him, and it went on to say to him: “What is your business here, E·lijah?" To this (Elijah) he said: “I have been absolutely jealous for Jehovah the God of armies"- 1 Kings 19:9, 10 Reference Bible

Ecclesiastes 7:21 "..., do not give your heart to all the words that people may speak," - Reference Bible

It would show up when you go to Bible > languages and then you'll see if there is an update (cloud) for it.
