London Visit - Need Assistance

Recommended Posts

To all the friends in the London area.  Thought I'd take a taxi or Uber from Gatwick to Ealing when I arrive but a sister mentioned to reach out to the friends and see if there were any single brothers or pioneer brothers looking for some extra funds for providing a ride for me.  I thought it was a great idea as I'd rather help someone related in the faith and know I won't be taken advantage of not knowing my way around. So, if you or anyone you know of might be interested please private message me.  I can give all the details as well as my info and a local elder so you can verify if you would like.  Appreciate any help.

At short notice I wouldn't rely on my being able to help, and I personally am away from 24-28, but I will ask around.

Taxi would be very expensive I think (black cab), uber would probably be better.

Gatwick Express is fast(30min) and runs every 15min. to Victoria and the tube to Ealing is District Line to Ealing Broadway, if that is any help.  I would allow at least an hour and a half to get from Ealing to British Museum by tube (Russell Square or Holborn stops on Piccadilly Line)  if that helps you to schedule things.

Are you staying in Ealing?  How long is your stay?  What plans have you?  PM me with details if you wish.

Thanks @bohemian!  Uber will be my backup. I tried calling the Barnfield Road Northgate congregation in Crawley but haven't heard from anyone.  I don't even know if my message went through. I have mapped everything out so I know all my routes. Appreciate the info though. I'll be there a week. Just the British museum, some touristy stuff, Bethel. Just going to go with the flow otherwise. :D

Our previous congregation is there. There used to be a brother there that drove London taxis but he moved to Australia, so I’m not actually being very helpful!

I’m just waving really.

Have a great trip. I will probably hear your plane land from here.

The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the true God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole obligation of man. Ec 12:13
