How I Found the Truth

  • How I found the Truth
Taught as a child, made it my own as an adult.

My Hobbies & Interests

  • My Interests
It's hard to find me without a paintbrush in my hand. I love art! Also enjoy singing, dancing, gardening, and cooking.I like culture, accents, also sampling food from different countries. My spice cabinet reflects this! I'm also fascinated by psychology- spent many years studying it.
  • My favorite books
The Bible, of course. Don't have time to read much else.
  • My favorite music
I love all types of music. Really enjoy listening to music from different parts of the world.
  • My favorite movies
I don't watch TV and rarely watch movies.. Clean ones are getting hard to come by.

  1. 1 Thessalonians 1:3 We put part of this on a cake for pioneer school one year. 😊
  2. Some people think the end is coming, but they think it will come by means of wars, bombs, radiation or something like this, so that's what the bunkers are for. If they understood where the end was really coming from, they would know that there is no cave deep enough to conceal them.
  3. This is part of my problem. Definitely this too. I kind of wonder if artists and creative people are messy in general. It seems that way sometimes. The last bit reflects what is going on in my mind. My house is a mess at the moment, just like my mind. This winter depression has been awful this year and it certainly shows. I have been watching declutter and organize videos on YouTube to hype myself up and to get some good ideas on how to store things nearly. It worked. I'm making progress, even though it feels like it is taking forever. I definitely feel calmer and more in control when things are neat and orderly, so I will keep plucking away at it.
  4. This is really a tough one because you can't heat anything up, don't want anything heavy to put you to sleep, plus you probably wouldn't want anything messy. I always packed wraps or sandwiches to keep it simple, but love the idea of sushi, spring rolls or hummus. Speaking of hummus, I love a good Mediterranean wrap.. hummus, feta olives, cucumber, a drizzle of some nice olive oil, dash of paprika. Mmmmm.. 😁 What if you packed your chicken curry salad as a wrap? If you have a thermos, you could pair it with a soup. Or pack some fruit or yogurt.
  5. Not sure. It's the morning worship towards the end of the program.
  6. Yup. Again. Right behind the annual meeting with the breakdown of the GT timeline. The governing body must really feel we are close. They talk about it a whole lot now. We are most definitely being prepared for things to come.
  7. It has been appearing later lately, but I don't wait. I watch in ASL. 😊
  8. I think I just found the perfect solution! I just added it to a cup of hibiscus tea (Passion by TZAO if anyone is curious). It works. Yay! Now I can drink this at least twice a day. 😁
  9. I would like to do this several times a day, but I keep forgetting. Maybe the horrible taste is contributing to my amnesia..🤣
  10. Thank you for the recommendation. I will definitely give it a try when I get to my goal weight. Maybe one day I can try lentils too. I love them. As of now, even what people consider to be good carbs create a problem. They also, for me and people like me, hinder fat loss. I'm still trying to lose weight, so I have to be strict for now. I do know a young sister who went this direction though, with great results. She stopped all sugar, but ate things like brown rice routinely. She lost all of her weight (30 lbs) fairly quickly and felt fantastic. She was young and healthy to begin with though. So yes, I agree. Anything in this direction is helpful. But people with more severe problems may need to do something more extreme to get results. Thus keto. Cutting unhealthy carbs did nothing for me.
  11. Eating carbs not only makes me fat, but keeps my brain foggy, increases depression, contributes to a lack of energy, knocks my hormones out of whack, and exacerbates my autoimmune disorders. I will automatically know if I've encountered hidden carbs because I will feel awful the next day. My rheumatoid arthritis will flare and I will be swollen. Perhaps "healthy" eating is for people who are relatively healthy already. If you are a healthy weight and have no issues digesting carbs, great. I suppose an all inclusive diet is good for you. For those of us with sensitivities and health problems, this diet provides a sustainable solution. I have seen it work miracles for people who had very few options left. Nobody resorts to keto for the fun of it. Most people have tried everything else. I know I did. I am very much looking forward to the day where I can eat rice and fruit without reacting to it.
  12. We do karaoke, dinner parties, cooking classes, cooking on the grill while there is volleyball or kickball going on, snow tubing, skating, and costume parties.
  13. Thank you, brother, for taking the time to write this out. I feel like writing this down in a notebook and keeping it safe along with other encouraging thoughts and scriptures. 😊
