  1. There still are some time left before March 18. The Romans study note makes a reference to the Media Gallery of “Paul’s First Letter to the Corinthians.” I personally think the Study Note will be available in jw.org and wol.jw.org first before JWLibrary.
  2. I see, thank you to both you brothers. So if I copy the contents of the Watchtower DVD (along with the set up files such as wtlsetup.exe), and place them onto a USB drive and plug it into a new computer, it will act like I inserted a DVD. Korea has generally good internet speed, so this shouldn't be a problem, but many people still a have hard time using the computers or other tech-related stuffs, like mounting a virtual drive.
  3. Also heard this news in our congregation. Is it still possible to install older version of the Watchtower Library on DVD (such as 2016 or 2017) and then update it to get a current version (e.g. 2018, 2019)? Also, how does one make a USB drive into an ISO installer? I don't think simply putting the .ISO file will instantly do the trick.
  4. Yes, I meant that, in other languages, the home screen will still show the preaching work screens as it was before, but in English, it will show Online Bible Lessons as you said. Sorry if I caused confusion.
  5. I really wonder how it will look, because the site now already is very easy to use, and already extremely professionally built. This kind of CSS skills don't come from nowhere! The home screen still shows the preaching work pictures in other languages; the Online Bible Lesson is yet to be available in those languages. Speaking of which, I wonder if the newly-designed website will be available in other languages immediately, I guess we won't be able to tell.
  6. Interesting! The design is more or less similar to the 2018 Invitation. Now I don't remember 2017 invitation a lot... hahaha. Also, the 2018 invitation had a blank area in the bottom for congregation to print out the dates and the location, but here it was replaced with the jw.org link. Although this may only be for electronic format. And it seems the front cover's picture is different depending on where the invitation is supposed to be given out.. That is very interesting too.
  7. Wait, I'm not sure. Was the composer Lalo Schifrin one of our brothers (Jehovah's Witnesses)?
  8. We Must Have the Faith has 97 BPM. (Stayin' Alive's is 103.) A slightly faster is Enduring to the End at 98 BPM. But the best I know so far is the old Sing to Jehovah vocal version of Enduring to the End, (with the iconic majestic beat in the background), at 108 BPM. The American Heart Association recommends 100-120 BPM for CPR.
  9. Seeing the trend with the Study Notes for the Letter to the Romans, it could be possible that the Study Note (and the audio recording) for the First to the Corinthians may be available just before when we start the weekly bible reading for it. (That's the week starting from March 18th)
  10. One of my favourite scripture. I believe it is a truly touching text when teaching to a sincere teenage student. Ecclesiastes 12:1.
  11. I have a certain few selection of Kingdom melodies that are arranged in 8-bit chiptune fashion that could be used as a ringtone, See Yourself When All Is New (Chorus only)
  12. Thank you for sharing this! I feel that it is the reason Jehovah has multiple times provided us advice of this in the Scripture, that we can keep our path clean by keeping on his words. The pioneer sister's expression of match and the barn was very memorable and I will not forget it.
  13. I'm also a Korean like op, so I feel like I can (and should) add something. In Korea, I mainly have been noticing people ignoring clear proof of God's existence (2 Peter 3:3-4). People are much more against the good news of the kingdom ever before (Luke 21:12). A lot of people are ruining the Earth and does not care what their action will cause about the environment (Revelation 11:18). Paul said that people will be "lovers of themselves" (2 Timothy 3:1-5), and just around me, I am surrounded by those people—people caring and loving for themselves first and not others. I am reminded of this Watchtower article from March 1st, 1993 (w93 3/1 pp. 4-7), which you may remember, it states: Also compare an article from w15 8/15 pp. 14-18.
