  1. From our CO's visit this week: Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you will have any success, And you will condemn any tongue that rises up against you in the judgment. This is the heritage* of the servants of Jehovah, And their righteousness is from me,” declares Jehovah. Psalm 7: 15, 16 He excavates a pit and digs it deep, But he falls into the very hole he made. The trouble he causes will return on his own head; His violence will fall on the crown of his head. .........Soon please Jehovah
  2. So many”unprecedented” weather events going on no where seems immune! We got through the NSW wet ok down here. Stay safe everyone.

Issued at 3:28 pm Monday, 26 November 2018. INTENSE RAIN AND VIGOROUS WINDS TO SYDNEY AND ILLAWARRA WEDNESDAY Weather Situation: A low pressure system over central parts of Australia is moving east. This system is expected to enter the northwest of New South Wales on Tuesday and then track southeast, rapidly intensifying as it crosses the coast about the Greater Sydney area during Wednesday. Intense rainfall and vigorous winds are expected to impact parts of the Illawarra and Greater Sydney area on Wednesday before the low quickly moves east away from the New South Wales coast. HEAVY RAIN which may lead to FLASH FLOODING is likely for some parts of the Illawarra, Sydney Metropolitan and Blue Mountains during Wednesday. The most intense rainfall is likely to be during Wednesday morning and afternoon. Rainfall is expected to ease late Wednesday and early Thursday as the low pressure system moves further offshore. DAMAGING WINDS, averaging 60 to 70 km/h with peak gusts in excess of 90 km/h are likely along the coastal Illawarra and Sydney fringe from late Wednesday morning, and extending to the Central Coast and the Hunter coastal fringe during Wednesday evening. The State Emergency Service advises that people should: * Move vehicles under cover or away from trees. * Secure or put away loose items around your house, yard and balcony. * Keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines or objects that may be energised, such as fences. * Report fallen power lines to either Ausgrid on 131 388, or Endeavour Energy on 131 003 or Essential Energy on 132 080, as shown on your power bill. * Don't drive, ride or walk through flood water. * Keep clear of creeks and storm drains. * If you are trapped by flash flooding, seek refuge in the highest available place and ring 000 if you need rescue. * For emergency help in floods and storms, ring your local SES Unit on 132 500.
  4. I always thought man's "ruining the earth" would be part of man's not being able to rule himself and we would experience proof of that. Which to me seems manifest in many of the disasters occurring around the world that could be linked to humans, not all, but many. How far will the ruining of the earth go I wonder?
  5. I wasn't as noble as everyone else here, I memorised the first few verses of Song of Solomon 4 and quoted them at my cousin to annoy her....your hair is like a flock of goats, teeth like sheep, neck like a tower etc.
  6. Lowest income? And yet we thrive and flourish as human beings, we are indeed prosperous in so many ways.
  7. I've used "Revolution" with no problems. The Toxic Plant: Allium. The Allium species of plants is where the toxicity lies. These plants include garlic, onions, leeks, scallions, chives and shallots. If your pet eats one of these products, red blood cells can be damaged, resulting in the cells not being able to carry oxygen.
  8. A friend bought my mum a brand new smart TV (Hisense) especially for the broadcasts and had the same problem with it not loading, she was so disappointed I bought her an Apple TV to use with it but she couldn't master the remote control and kept forgetting how to use it. She gave up and started watching the broadcasts on You Tube, I know she's an old rebel. I have a Sony on which it won't load and a Samsung which is newer and it works fine. I thought it was because of the browser the TV uses and I've never found an answer for it.
  9. Just when I was thinking that I would love to read his life story and here it is
  10. I'm in Australia. I think I realised it was something entering the atmosphere and burning up when it didn't continue to travel down to the ground.
  11. I saw your meteor on the news, very impressive. I had a similar experience while driving my car, my son was with me. We both saw a streak/flash/fire shoot through the sky. It was gone in a second. It was daylight and still the flash was very bright and it looked like flames. My first thought was a plane was exploding but quickly realised it was something burning up on entering the atmosphere. There were no news reports and I have never spoken to anyone else who saw it. There were lots of cars on the road at the time too. Just one of those things... I did get a bit of a fright
  12. I feel very sad for these people who think they have achieved a great victory and are now viewed as equal. I'm sad that they don't know the truth and that their happiness is going to be very short if they don't repent and come into good standing with Jehovah. It's just sad.
  13. I've been reading articles/blogs by this geologist for a few years now and often refer people to his sensible scientific approach.
