  1. I don't have much storage memory right now and really, I am not sure if my downloads go to my phone or are still in the cloud. I think they do download to my phone. (Getting 64G of added storage memory next week.) I just started using JW Library two weeks ago as I just couldn't understand how it worked and then started "messing around" with it. I got through a lot with trial and error. My question is TAGS and my personal study with NOTES accessed with the spiritual gems icon. Can you delete a downloaded article you have Notes and Tags on without losing the Notes and Tags? For instance, if I have a new Note and it is the only one associated with a Tag and I deleted the article, I assume that the Tag and Note would remain. I hope this question makes sense. Also, I think T-Mobiel has cloud storage but I will double check with them on this. I will try to upload what I can to the cloud. If someone wants to explain this to me a little further, that would be great. Don't know what can be uploaded. Studied articles, just backing up my phone and its contents in general? Android, Coolpad Defiant, JW Pub, T-Mobile
  2. Meetings/Assemblies I was curious if anyone uses a Laptop during the meetings instead of a tablet or phone? If so, what size is your laptop? The large iPad Pro is 12.9inch so I was thinking that a 13-12inch or smaller laptop may be nice to use especially because of the WT Library CD. I have considered the Microsoft Surface tablets, but they can be quite expensive or the older versions are not very powerful or quick compared to a laptop. While a tablet is lighter, I was thinking that a small, light laptop may be fine, it is sturdier. During the meetings, the tablet can slide sometimes on my lap. And also the ease of typing on a laptop could be better for taking notes for talks/assemblies. I especially like the idea of being able to quickly copy the scriptures or referenced articles from the WT Library CD onto my notes. Talks And also I was curious if any brothers use a small laptop when giving talks? Or if anyone has seen brothers in their congregation use a laptop for talks? If you use a laptop for talks, do you recommend it or would a tablet be better? I have also seen a few sisters use a laptop during some midweek meeting parts. There is a powerful yet very light 13inch laptop I have been considering, so I will appreciate any input/thoughts/suggestions, thanks!
  3. Wierd stuff on my tablet all of a sudden. The highlighting and notes feature has stopped working properly. When I first switch the tablet on, I may be able to highlight one sentence of text. But then, the right click menu does not appear, or may appear occasionally, but none of the functions work. I can edit existing notes, but cannot add any new ones. I thought it was a memory issue, but, I am able create notes as normal on my Win10 PC, then I can import a full set of new notes from there to the tablet. These appear on the tablet and can be accessed and edited. I have reinstalled the JW Library app, but no change. I am on the brink of doing a factory reset and starting all over, but just thought I would check here in case anyone else has experienced/resolved this issue. Can anyone help?
  4. I just wanted to share this new app with the friends. It's called S-pen Recorder for Note 10.1 2014 and is available in the Samsung App store. It allows pdf hand written notes to be synced with recorded audio. You can also click a portion of your written text and the audio recorded at that moment will be played. This can be a valuable tool to take notes on our tablets at the meetings, assemblies, and conventions. Just click the portion of your written note and what the speaker was saying at that exact moment starts playing! Spen SDK must be installed from Google Play store or this app won't work. This is the 1st app on Android that I have seen that adds my most missed feature from Notability on my old Ipad. Glad it's available for our Galaxy Notes!
  5. Does anyone have the Evernote templates for the the Regional Convention? If so, could you please share them along with your experience in using them? Thanks.
