  1. Meetings/Assemblies I was curious if anyone uses a Laptop during the meetings instead of a tablet or phone? If so, what size is your laptop? The large iPad Pro is 12.9inch so I was thinking that a 13-12inch or smaller laptop may be nice to use especially because of the WT Library CD. I have considered the Microsoft Surface tablets, but they can be quite expensive or the older versions are not very powerful or quick compared to a laptop. While a tablet is lighter, I was thinking that a small, light laptop may be fine, it is sturdier. During the meetings, the tablet can slide sometimes on my lap. And also the ease of typing on a laptop could be better for taking notes for talks/assemblies. I especially like the idea of being able to quickly copy the scriptures or referenced articles from the WT Library CD onto my notes. Talks And also I was curious if any brothers use a small laptop when giving talks? Or if anyone has seen brothers in their congregation use a laptop for talks? If you use a laptop for talks, do you recommend it or would a tablet be better? I have also seen a few sisters use a laptop during some midweek meeting parts. There is a powerful yet very light 13inch laptop I have been considering, so I will appreciate any input/thoughts/suggestions, thanks!
  2. The WT library on disk (installed on pc) allows the user to right click and select "copy with caption." The results are perfect. You get the date of the publication, the publication abbreviation, title and, selected text all in a reasonable sized font ready to print for research projects and meetings. When I use WOL the copied text does NOT provide the date or publication (there is no "copy with caption" option) and, the large heading font needs to be changed. It also highlights the original search terms and makes editing far more labor intensive. Because of this, I find myself avoiding WOL and relying on my pc copy. I suspect there is no fix for this because of the contrast between the standalone vs. live software. However, if I am missing something, could you please let me know if there is remedy for this? Thanks! WT Library on disk results *** g95 4/22 p. 4 Are We Living in the Last Days? *** Are We Living in the Last Days? THE phrase “critical times hard to deal with” is translated from the Greek kai·roiʹ kha·le·poiʹ. (2 Timothy 3:1) The word kha·le·poiʹ is the plural of a word that literally means “fierce” and carries the thought of menace and danger. One Bible commentator says the word refers to a “tremendous assault of evil.” Therefore, while previous eras experienced turmoil, “the last days” would be extraordinarily savage. As 2 Timothy 3:13 puts it, “wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse.” WOL results Are We Living in the Last Days? 3. Is anyone having problems installing the new WT Library onto their Windows 8 computer? I installed my husbands on his Windows 7 and had no problems, but my mom and I both have the Windows 8 and cannot get it to work...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
