I have an older friend he couldn't make the DC. He is ill.

I can't access drop box as I am still waiting for Telstra to connect the internet.

I missed the last talk on Sunday.

So I was hoping to see if anyone could help out please

The other idea. If I connect the note. To the laptop. Transfer the recording.

Then is it copy to CD. Then how do I check to see if the CD works please?

You put it in a CD player and press "play" it will either work or not.

Can't you just download from note to the laptop and it will play?You don't have to put it on a CD if you just want to listen to it do you?

Been meaning to do that with an old record player.

My hubby got "modern " no Cd player. Had to give my beloved Kenwood away.

Doesn't your computer have a CD ROM drive? If it doesn't, how will you burn it to CD in the first place? Your CD writer is also a player. So if you can play the CD you make on your computer, it will work on an audio CD player.

Yes it does. Sorry it all came out wrong. At the moment what I want to ask is not. I have my surgery soon. I won't ask another question till after.

I thought that you wanted to know how to check that your computer wrote to the CD correctly? Did I misunderstand?

 

All you need is to record the talk and save it. It is usually recorded as an MP3 file. Then use any CD "burning" program, even Windows media player will do it, and create an audio CD using a blank CD disk in your computer's CD drive. Once it's finished burning, it will tell you whether it was "successful" or not, as it will test the disk itself. If it is successful, then you can give it to your friend and it should play fine for him..

Most often CD's will also play on a DVD player also.
