Oh no! The dreaded drug calculations are here!

I had to open my online subject today -new assignments posted every Friday. There were only 30 practice problems so I thought I would do them first to sort of have a baseline to start.

Now I'm worried! That part of my brain that allowed me to do bookkeeping before the brain tumor won't let me even understand the question. I use to be great at figuring dosages and calculations. Now I think I have wasted my $2000.00 for the refresher course. I have got to be able to figure this out. How do I retrain myself to do this when I can not even follow the question?

Sorry to hear that your noodle isn't functioning well after brain surgery.

 

So it has to be back to the basics. You will have to relearn how to make those calculations.

Once you have begun I hope that you brain will "rewire" itself. Hopefully it won't take too long.

 

If you have a friend to help you that can be a tremendous help.

Repetition is the key.  It's been awhile since you looked at it, I'm sure.  Stop fretting, say a prayer and practice, practice, practice!
