The can calculate these things precisely for years in advance down to the minute of sunrise/sunset. If it was really off by TWO DAYS, either i) there was a cosmic shift in the planets orbit/tilt which I think would be big news everywhere or ii) someone calculated wrong.

Interesting though, I'll look for it.

EDIT: I found an article and it said likely the cause is a shift in the local horizon (due to melting polar ice caps). They said the stars, constellations, orbit, and rotation of earth show no sign of change. A local phenomena (but a frightening one via global warming)

I love the brightly painted houses in the picture in the article. How fun and cheerful! I would love to paint my house bright pink, but my neighbors would not be pleased :-)
