A couple't  of weeks back. My daughter decided to started to download a game at the meeting. I don't usually let her have it then.

So I went to stop it & wouldn't stop, I found a force stop & manage to stop the download.

but now my Samsung Note comes up with the message most the time. Googles apps is not working. Google apps has stopped,

I sometimes can't make a phone call. it becomes sticky. 

I haven't had a chance since surgery to take it to get it looked at. Is there away I can fix it please & thanks?

Did you try powering your phone off completely and reloading after 30 secs or so?

Try that and if it doesn't work, power it off and remove the battery for about a minute and then put it back in and start up the phone. If that fails, you may be looking at a factory reset. It will restore your phone to the state it was when it was new, but you will lose and apps you've downloaded since then, but they can be reinstalled.

Before resetting (you will loose all your configurations) you can try this:

Go to settyngs, then application manager, then go trough each of the app's (start by the ones that have "Google" in the name) and see if you deactivated any (if there is a button saying "activate") (by what you said it seems you may have done this to one of the system app's). If you find, then press on "activate" and that should solve the issue

Yes, definitely try João's suggestion first! Only do a factory reset as a last resort. In most Android devices you go to "settings" then "Back up and reset" and the "factory data reset" is in there.
