Hello, brothers and sisters.

 

It is wonderful to find an online oasis of friedship and encouragement.

 

My wife, Caroline and I live in Shady Cove, Oregon. VERY small town.

 

I have been in the truth since the late 1960's and my wife also. We were married in 1987. At the moment, I find my self without secular employment, so we are auxiliary pioneering this month and hopefully for a few hereafter.

 

I love kingdom songs, and have quite a collection of kingdom recordings, starting with the records from the 1966 songbook forward.

 

I don't read music, but my daughter showed me a program called Noteworthy Composer, that lets you type and place music notes on a staff, and then play the passage. As a result, I have the music from the 1944, 1950, and 1966 songbooks entered.

 

This evening, i ran across a few of the "New World Records", produced by some brothers in the 1950's for the 1950 songbook. I plan to import these off LP into digital files. I don't have all the records in the set, but i would be happy to post what i have, when i get them completed, as well as anything else, music-wise. If anyone else has access to these wonderful gems of music, i would love to trade files, or help to digitize any others. I am also collecting assembly  music, especially the new songs, and any prelude music to the sessions. if anyone has some to share.

I looked in the Rand-McNally map book, I see you're further inland than Grant's Pass, which I went through 17 months ago...

 

I don't think I'll be heading near there during my next trip, but if I do I'll certainly see about dropping by.
