Registration required for Jews in Ukraine

Jews are being ordered to register not only themselves but all their assets or have them taken away and be deported. This is in an area where militants are gathered. Wow, we could be included in this...has anyone heard anything about this?

It says the reason is because the leaders of the Jewish community of Ukraine supported Bendery Junta, a reference to Stepan Bandera, the leader of the Ukrainian nationalist movement that fought for Ukrainian independence at the end of World War II, "and oppose the pro-Slavic People's Republic of Donetsk," a name adopted by the militant leadership.

 

 

This is yet another good reason why we remain neutral, eh?

 

I wonder if this isn't just a plot by someone to get ones to try and stand against the pro-Russian movement (since it states they are behind it - even the the pro-Russians say they have NOTING to do with that leaflet).

But even though Novosti Donbassa is not the most reliable source even by the less than exacting standards of Ukrainian media, the story was apparently too scandalous to ignore. 

But even if it looked like the start of some racist purge, the flier was more likely part of an ill-conceived extortion plot or a propaganda ploy against the separatists.

In the past few days, he added, similar fliers have been handed around to businessmen and foreign students in Donetsk. So all of this seems to be part of rather sloppy extortion scheme. If any separatists are behind it, they have probably done more to discredit themselves than to earn any extra cash.

It will be interesting to find out who actually started these fliers(if ever). There is so much finger pointing going on right now in the region, President Putin made a statement that he was not behind the militants, however, UN did not believe this when they had the emergency meeting, the US says they are not involved either, but it is not in only this region, it is worldwide. I sure can see the wisdom in Jehovah's words found in Jeremiah 10:23 man cannot direct his own step...
