LOL Stuart your British you should know these things . Tea is as natural just like Jehovah made " little Green Apples " ..........BUT there is always the question oh how man processed it to get to your tea pot !!! Then you might say it has been altered or tampered with ! That's a whole different story!

I know from personal application, that a moist tea bag will speed the healing of a bruise.

It's the tannin in the tea that is therapeutic.

 

I think he asked about 'teaBAGS'.  

 

Some are made of natural product and no chemical bleaching.  Some are not, may have been treated with chemicals.

 

The box will usually say how it was processed...especially if it's natural.

I know this might sound silly, but a couple of years ago I accidentally bashed the back of my hand against the door handle and it hurt like heck.  For some strange reason I clamped my mouth around the sort area and licked it madly, and believe it or not, a short time later once the pain had gone, I looked at my hand and there was only a pale pink mark which disappeared overnight.   I normally bruise very easily on the back of my hand, but there wasnt anything left to see.   Now, if I whack the back of my hand I just do the same thing with the same result - nothing.  No bruises at all.   Must be something in our spittle.   Whatever, it seems to do the trick.  But I will keep the moist tea bag in mind when I bruise legs and arms, coz I reckon they would lock me away if I was caught licking those parts.
