Sunni vs Shiite - this always reminded me of Catholic vs Protestant and those have been some pretty bloody wars that have lasted centuries.

the world has gone mad today - IRAQ, the plane going down with 49 UKRAINIANS, 3 U.S. teenagers kidnapped in mideast, several groups taking the credit . . . too many sparks to not have a fire!

Yup and the hatred that is boiling up is wild. Even mention a certain group of people and it starts a huge argument in some quarters.

I'm not surprise about Iraq. I predict about this 10 years ago. It is another black hole over there.

The entire world is a "hot spot", but the middle east has been boiling in oil for centuries.  Its now spilling over, and scalding the rest of the world.  Who knows, all this blood and religious grounds may just spill the kettle over into the lap of the U.N.   When Jehovah's time table reaches his liking, bam wam! That's it.  But I hope he waits till our conventions help strengthen us a bit more.  Check out Sunday's Convention Program on JW.ORG.  Brought tears to my eyes!  Sunday is about the sheep, and those who listen to God!
