Burning the Convention

I have the 2014 Reg Convention on a 2 terabyte external hard drive (Passport).I am trying to brun it to a DVD disk.Put I keep getting a error (could not complete download/burn).HELP Cliff

Is the file size greater than what the DVD will hold? What format are you trying to burn. Mp2 will play like a DVD with a menu. Mp4 will play like a file in a folder on your computer but not your TV.

Thanks for your help Tilford.The DVD ARE Big enough,all the down loaded file play on my TV just fine.I am not sure of the format.I am pluging in the passport into my laptop thu a USB/USB.Do you think I might have to old of a codex?My lap top has window 7.cliff

I use "ConvertXtoDVD" it will take any video format and convert it to  DVD (TSvideo/TSaudio) and then burn it to disk for you. There is a free trial download, but read the questions it asks you carefully, both in the download and then in the install process and "uncheck" any added software it tries to install.

Musky,Thank's so much for your help.I down loaded ConvertXtoDVD 5.2.0.7 and brun a DVD it pop out look like every thing went great took about 1.5 hr put in in my DVD player and nothing try in my laptop nothing.So I thought ok mybe the setting are not right so I try a few thing and now I have a window showing,(Access violation at address 00EBA08E in module'ConvertXtoDVD.exe'.Read of address FFFFFFFC.

It is difficult to diagnose a computer problem log distance, but that is a memory access error. It may be that your system doesn't have the resources to run the program (RAM, CPU speed, etc) It could also be a limitation of the trial version of the software. You should probably uninstall it if the errors continue.

Is there ANYTHING Musky don't know? I dump the free version and purchase the full version of ConvertXtoDVD. AND LIFE IS GOOD.THANKS MUSKY. CLIFF
