I always felt the Stock Market was "gambling" so never took any interest in it. So many will lose their money in this vacuous venture!

What is sort of sad is some of our retirement is tied up with it. I know when we went to two meetings a week, I thought no healing this time. I contacted the guy that handled my paultry retirement, (by the worlds standard) and told him to fix it so it would stop dribbling away, or I would pull it out and bury it on the hill.

He did so, no stock investments, and I lost nothing, and my husband still hasnt recouped what he lost. I actually gained.

There was an elder in our cong. years ago that played the stock market and you could sure tell a difference in his demeanor when he lost! One time he lost thousands of dollars and he was in a bad mood for a very long time!
