Oct 31 (Reuters) - Fourteen people were killed and 55 injured in western Honduras on Friday when a bus ran off the road and crashed into a ravine, the government said.

The bus, which landed with its wheels up, was carrying 69 people, said Moises Alvarado, head of the country's emergency services commission COPECO, who updated a prior estimate of 60 passengers.

The passengers, members of a Jehovah's Witness church, were traveling from the northern city of Choloma, said transportation official Quintin Juarez.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, which occurred near the town of San Juan de Opoa about 124 miles (200 kilometers) west of the capital city of Tegucigalpa.

And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.

That is so sad. So sorry to hear that. Its funny when our brothers say they will send prayers we know it means a lot. When worldly people say they will pray I always say "Why it won't make a difference!" Waste of their time.

Oh my, that's sad.

A sister here in VA whom I am close to, lost her worldly son last Saturday from some other man loosing all his money to him gambling, got mad and shoot and killed him. I knew them all. He just became a father, the baby girl is not even walking, now will be fatherless. This sister lost her disabled daughter right after she go baptized, her daughter and her cleaned up that night and in the morning they found her dead from a seizure. Now my poor sister has got two grandchildren without fathers. I am so sad about this. Four years ago she lost a grandson from crib death and his father before he died he had another baby with the girl who lost her baby. So much happening.

Proverbs 27:11- Be wise, my son, and make my heart rejoice, So that I can make a reply to him that taunts me.

Too much happening Charlotte. My thoughts are with all those you've mentioned. I pray Jehovah will come and send relief soon, in the form of Armageddon! We need this so bad. So tired of hearing how people suffer.

Love to you and yours.

These ones took the risk of being obedient to Jehovah to travel to a theocratic event. I, and no doubt Jehovah, commend them for that. Reminds me of the sacrifice of Apostle Paul in his self sacrificing service in his obedience to Jehovah and love of friends and his ministry. Many of us know the risk in maintaining our obedience and allegiance to Jehovah. We are all to be commended. I hope the survivors well on their recuperation and maintain that spirit-serving Jehovah with our whole heart, spirit, mind and body.

Their works will go with them into the NEW WORLD! ☺

Agreed Gregory, with us we had/have since our coming to know Jehovah, we have unlimited access to Jehovah - the creator of everything. He wants us to pray to him what concerns us. Our loving heavenly Father and friend. ☺
