The system looks like it's working just fine (thank you very much).  So long as folks attend sporting events and travel, or at least see people they know "continuing exactly as they were..." (2Peter 3:4); they will take no note.  Even as they see it crashing down around them, the "fresh water sources" have convinced themselves and their followers that they are "prepared" and so will be just fine.

I've watched her for years.  I find it interesting that no matter how badly people involved in the day to day function of government are treated, they still loyally support the system.  They're convinced, it's not the system, those people in those particular jobs are bad, we just need to get them out.  They will even refer to historical evidence that corruption goes back generations.  They will still retort, "Yeah but...".  Satan has truly blinded their minds.  Incredible!
