Beautiful article!

One can't help thinking of the crows bringing meat to Elijah. :)

I'm not sure if they changed the rendering, but I've always remembered the scripture with a Raven as the bird.  At any rate, it's incredible.

I have a picture of a very large, somewhat tame (because he/she was super fond of tim bits) Raven..  Will have to dig it out to post.

Also, another raven story..  Seen two very large ravens beside the road in the mountains, it was the dead of winter around -25C or something.   Sunny and bbbbbrrrrrr cold.  I thought those poor guys are probably too cold to look for food.  So I got out and an left an apple on the ground.  Fully expecting they'd impale it and peck at it with their beaks.

INSTEAD the one took the ENTIRE APPLE into its mouth and they both flew off.  My husband and I stood there shocked.   We heard a not too distant yip, howl and we looked at each other and my husband said GET TO THE CAR.   I think a coyote or a wolf had made a kill in the back bushes and they were waiting.  Either way we hightailed it out of there LOL

Amazing little account about crows that bring gifts to this little girl. Might have to befriend the crows around here.

I absolutely love this story.  Both my husband and I are bird rescuers..  My hubby rescued a magpie.  He named him Mitch LOL

Here's me feeding a baby crow I rescued from a cat.  After a bit of research, it said that the parents are most often close by and you will hear them call out.  So after holding him, and giving him a bit of a drink, I took him and put him in a tree.

The other photo is the raven I spoke of.
