Schools can win £30,000 grants if they hire and promote gay and transgender teachers thanks to 'profoundly misguided' scheme
The Leadership Equality and Diversity Fund provides help for minorities
Schools can apply on basis on age, disability, gender reassignment or race
The £900,000 fund opened this year, following a pilot scheme in 2014/15
But schools have also used the fund to promote and train male staff
Critics say the scheme promotes staff on basis of diversity, not skill

For many many years, schools (that I have taught in) have given preference to hiring homosexual persons. I'm not sure if it was a written policy, but it was certainly in practice. It may have been just to satisfy school mission statements on promoting diversity, or there may have been a financial gain. Extra money is the driving force for educational systems in the U.S. Another thing that frequently happened (I learned after having been hired into a public school system) is that many jobs vacancies, which were advertised, had already been filled.

And people claim and want us to believe there is no "gay" agenda.

WOnder how long it will be till they want do "diversify" teachers at schools with pedophile teachers as well. Because there's a pedophile agenda out there, too, it has simply not gained any public traction...... yet.
