I believe the update needs a lot of room on the drive to apply the update. Do you have a lot of space available on your drive?

Until 1705 update I had no trouble installing ( Windows 7)

However 1705 update will download, verify, then when it tries to install I get this error:

I have tried to update manually but the same thing happens

( Using 2016 WT library updated to 1704)

Any advice on this appreciated

Thanks

Exactly the same problem for me here in UK.

I am having problems.  Getting the same message.  I have to open WTLIB to get the update, the update says all versions of WTLIB will be closed, and then I get the message about open instances of Watchtower Library.  I have restarted the computer, used Task manager to check open apps, and tried to do the update several times.  I have Windows 10 and I am having the same problem as the person who says they have Windows 7. (Note: I thought you had to haver Windows 10 for it to work.)

I recently removed some other files from my computer but nothing related to Watchtower Library.  Space should not be a problem.

Hmmm.. Well some have no problem. Others like me do.

I guess that's part of computer life.

I can only assume that some of the updates uploaded are corrupted in some way, as from the comments, lack of space, version of windows, and other issues do not seem to be causing the error.

I guess I will keep trying and see what happens as there does not seem to be any fix for this right now.

1795. I think it took 2 go's. (goes?)

???   1795   ???

Maybe that was the problem - mine was a 1705 update

It appears the Branch fixed the update issue. My WTL said "no updates available" last night, but this morning it updated fine to 1705. I suggest everyone that was having issues with this update try it again now.

I think I am current with the latest WTLibrary update.  My WTLibrary says "No update available." How do I determine which build I have?  Am I missing out or have you been missing out?
Go into "help" then "about WT library" and see what your numbers are. The latest is update 1705

I believe that the "17" in the release number is the 2017 DVD issue date..  The "05" in the number represents the month of May (or the 5th update).
