Pictures embedded in MP3s

I downloaded "Lessons You Can Learn From the Bible" on MP3 and began listening to it on my VCL media player.

Pictures from the book appeared that coincided with what was being said.

 

I didn't know pictures could be embedded in MP3s.

 

How incredibly cool is that?!!! 

 

Wonder when this feature was first added to MP3 recordings of our publications?

Do you mean more than one picture per MP3 file? I know you can add one as the cover, but didn't know you can add more to appear at certain points.

The part Balaam's Donkey Speaks has a picture that coincides with that part.  

Not more than one pic per part.

The images have been in place for many years, as can be seen on the audio files for the 2008 Watchtower.

 

Unfortunately many media players (especially on mobile) will omit the images entirely, or they will keep the initial cover art throughout the entire playlist.

Yes, you can add one cover to each mp3 file. I use this software which is freeware to add the album cover to songs that lack it. IT can also be used to edit all the other mp3 tags.

 

It seems the brothers are making good use of that feature. A picture can enrich the reading a lot. Our spiritual food is not only nutritive but also really tasty.
