JW library wont update after downloaded

Its and Iphone 7 plus and Ive tried several things.

 

cleared the iphone cache and app cache.

updated ios on phone

deleted app and reinstalled several times

 

Pulled down on the apps home screen and it will just stick on last updated then disappear and nothing happens

 

there are no magazines or tuesday lessons to download and app freezes. Any ideas?

If you can get to the "publications" screen, select an existing brochure or something that shows on the list.  Click on the three "more" dots in the upper left corner of the item.  Chooses "delete" and remove it.  Then when it changes into the "uninstalled" mode (you see the little 'cloud' symbol) click on it again and install it again.  When it is done, you may find that other items are ready to update now.  It sort of "wakes" up the update feature.  It works for me about 3 out of 4 times.

 

Do not delete any item that is dated.  If you delete a 2017 Examinng the Scriptures daily text, the program won't let you get it back (no old invitations or programs, etc).
