are there any good programs to help write a book 

and where to go to publish a book

What is difficult is having the ability to use the English languge in a way that others want to follow. I have concluded I lack fluentcy to express myself clearly to a reader. I have a lot of ideas and have given it a shot a couple of times but rereading what I had put down brought me to tears.

Scrivener is an excellent program for organizing, creating, and publishing digital manuscripts.
