Amazon Smile donations in U.K.

Now we are housebound everything is delivered and a lot of parcels come from smile.amazon.co.uk .

At the moment an animal charity we are familiar with is getting 0.5% value of our purchases because I can only find one congregation. I assume it is real but the description is poorly written.

 

Should I prompt an elder to set this up for our congregation, or is this something likely to be set up at a larger level?

In our area there are no theocratic entities that will accept the Amazon Prime charitable donations. Our assemnly hall opted out, the World Wide Work opted out so rather than let Amzon spend it I assign it to The World Wild Life Fund.

I hadn't looked befrore but elders have instructions to not accept such donations for local KHs or assembly halls. They are not accepted by our organization at any level.

Do you know the reason they stopped?
