Small online jobs for getting a little money

It depends on what you can do, well. If you can type fast (60-70gwam) you can do transcription work. If you don't type that fast, however, you're not going to qualify for most jobs, unfortunately. Also, most of the decent paying gigs on places like Amazon Turk are in transcription. If you're good with photography, you can submit stock photography to sites such as Shutterstock. If you photograph people, however, just remember that they might become the face of something embarrassing in a journal at some point. Shutterstock and similar sites also accept illustrator art, if you're good with computer generated graphics. If you can work with video, well, you can hire yourself out as a video editor and start a youtube video series. Youtube offers little pay per view, but the endgame is to get enough views so you can be sponsored by companies such as skillshare or dollar shave club. If you write well, there are always people seeking content writers for blogs and websites. Also, you can start a blog on medium and, if your blog gains traction, get paid sponsorships.

You can try learning either HTML/CSS/Javascript or PHP/SQL to see which you're more apt with. You can easily find resources for those on developer.mozilla.org or w3schools.com. The former is a step towards front end development and the latter, towards backend/server side development. If you learn front end, you'll want to learn ReactJS, VueJS, Sass, Less, and other frameworks. If backend, you'd want to learn Laravel, Wordpress, Drupal and NodeJS. In fact, NodeJS is good to learn either way. It might take about a year to learn all the skills thoroughly enough to actually find steady work, however. If you're not much into computers though, you might be better off with the previous options.
