Microsoft Edge as your web browser, it so, have you downloaded the Microsoft Edge Beta, what do you think about it, and is it worth trying?

I'm a Google Chrome user (beta version) with a dozen of extension (the absolutely indispensable "ublock origin" first  , I think you can have it on Edge too).

Can't really help with Edge.

I do have and only use Microsoft Edge as my web browser, I was looking around on the Microsoft website, came across an offer to be one of the first to download Beta. To honest with you, I don't know what beta is, and what it does. I just remember back in the 80"s beta didn't take off as Sony thought it would.

"Beta" is a "test version" not officially completed or released ... they are still working on it but it is functional. My Nephew uses it

I've been using it for several months and since it's based on chrome, it seems to work well.

Techie is usually spelled a bit differently

 

i use 5 different browsers for work

 

microsoft used to be the worst but has made serious strides in regaining trust

 

Microsoft Edge has had some serious compatibility issues even with their own operating system

 

most Techs...will use Chrome / Firefox / Safari

 

but MIcrosoft does have a large customer base and the newest version is gaining ground

 

anything that is a BETA is still being tested and will probably have some ‘bugs’ meaning problems during the initial phases

 

there is a new version of Edge that is a bit more palatable ... but still not totally smooth

uBlock. Is it safe? Got my attention whe it says it can change whats going out or coming in including text etc. That it can change anything...
