Leap Second

One of the practitioners  at my Physical Therapy Center is the son of a Math teacher. I frequently bring in math trivia or quirky formulae for amusement. The small staff has hopped in to solve the math -letics.  I was recently telling the team about the Leap Second. Basically, it is an extra second added in an attempt to make the reckoning of time more accurate. We have decided on the day of the next leap second, we will all consume a second-long sip of a sugar-free beverage, The PT assistant had weight loss surgery a few years ago and drinks lo-cal beverages. We thought we could each enjoy a tiny amount of her fave beverage,separate cup, while doing a one-second dance move. We would like to queue up the music to play the first two words of "second hand rose" simultaneously. One of the PTs asked, "What would I wear?"  Something second hand, I hope. Our complete observation should take one second. That's the plan. Can you figure out when it will happen? Hint: It may fall sometime  before the next pi day.    Y(Time keeps on slipping)S

I always add "leap seconds" to my life on Mondays in the morning, when trying to get up from bed and face reality ...LOL

I call it, practical application of mathematics.
