We are indeed, wonderfully made.

“I praise you because in an awe-inspiring way I am wonderfully made”                         - Ps 139:14

I'm going to think about this the next time my "entertainment activities" cut into my sleep schedule.

We owe it to Jehovah to do the best we can for our personal health.  I didn't realize that getting adequate restful sleep is vital for maintaining and improving our mental health and physical health.

And thank God for sleep walking too. I think.

Thanks Sister Suzie for that most informative video. I try to get to bed by 10 pm but I find it very hard because I'm a 'night' person. I will have to forgo my afternoon nap if I want to retire early.

Why You Should Always Be Asleep by 10pm

Your sleep cycles during this time are more focused on deep, restorative cycles. This window of opportunity lasts until about 2:00 am – at which your sleep cycles start to become more heavily focused on lighter REM sleep where you tend to have dreams coupled with a tendency to wake up more easily.

To maximize the amount of deep sleep you get and feel more rested regardless of when you wake up, you should make sure you are either already asleep or are getting into bed no later than 10pm. Take advantage of these longer deep sleep cycles earlier in the night between 10pm and 2am!

No Bright Lights or Electronic Devices after 9pm

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.
