Phone call during meetings

Recommended Posts

Due to corona we are conducting meetings in zoom app

A brother was giving a talk. But suddenly we could not able to hear and his video was paused. After the meeting I asked what the problem was. He said the problem was caused by a sudden receiving a phone call.

Is there anything we can do to prevent the receiving phone call during the meetings?

Before the meeting begins, I go to my phone's Settings and turn the volume down on everything.

I can do this because I use my tablet for Zoom and my phone for the Bible and meeting materials.

If you are using your phone to Zoom, turn just the ringer and alarm off.

Hope this helps. :)

Maybe the easiest way is to set your phone to plane mode, then activate wifi so that you are able to connect with Zoom. That way you won't receive any phone calls.

Don't forget to return the phone to normal mode after the meeting! :)

I have never tried it ... but, here are a couple of ways I found on Google Search you could try

Method One

Change your interruption settings
Open your phone's Settings app.
Tap Sound & vibration. Do Not Disturb. ...
Under "What can interrupt Do Not Disturb," choose what to block or allow. People: Block or allow calls, messages, or conversations.

Methos Two

For those who want to try for the Call Barring method, here are the necessary steps:
Open the Phone app.
Tap the menu overflow button (three dots) in the upper righthand corner.
Tap Settings.
Tap Calls. ...
Within Call Settings, tap Call Barring.
Tap All Incoming (which should initially say "Disabled").

"Let all things take place decently and by arrangement."

Arumuga, if you watch Zoom on data, you can enable plane mode, then activate data.
