Raspberry Pi 4 - Cheapest Simple Desktop Zoom Setup

Recommended Posts

TL;DR Using PiKiss or Pi-Apps, you can install Box x86 and Zoom to emulate Linux x86 Zoom client on the RasPi's ARM CPU.

So for a full desktop kit, the new Raspberry Pi 400 built into a keyboard along with a mouse and power and cables and sd card is $100. It's even got great passive cooling for permanent overclocking. https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-400/?resellerType=home&variant=raspberry-pi-400-us-kit

But I'm still kind of torn on whether to get one of these or a Windows Mini PC/Chrome/Android Box for my parents for Zoom in the living room because I obsess so much.
