What celebrity would you like to preach to and why?

Recommended Posts

I would like to preach to Angelina Jolie.

Reason: I heard her acceptance speech for a Humanitarian award, and it was extremely heartfelt and moving. She was very honest about feeling bewildered about why some people have so much and other so little....she sounded like a classic lost sheep who is searching for answers.

Link to speech: Start at second minute 2:00

I'll love to witness to Jennifer Garner and Jordan Fisher. I love Jennifer because she's like a girl next door, she's down to earth, and in one interview her ex husband said, she hates it when you say negative things about others... Even people who hurt her... She will always hush him if he starts trashing anyone.. That's a quality I admire greatly and strive to imitate ( Jehovah actually requires that of us) So I felt she's genuinely kind hearted) I'll love to witness to Jordan because of that Boy next door factor too. Despite his success as  a dancer( a recent winner of Dancing with Star's) a singer with the most soulful voice ever... And a great Actor.. He's veeery down to earth and Sentimental ( like Isaac.... Winks) Unlike other celebs who go after the new item, He got engaged to his childhood friend... A girl he's known for years, she's not even an actress. I see that as loyalty on his part... A very good quality if he becomes a servant of Jehovah... Besides We are kinda related because of his Nigerian ancestral lineage. So I'll love to witness to both of them ( Smiling)

Keanu Reeves ... after all the poor guys been through I think he needs the good news, plus he seems to have a kind heart.

He actually likes reading books on philosophy and has read some major works... sounds like he's searching...

But why??
Well I was kind of just joking, but now you ask, I grew up with Bond, so explaining to Sean Connery that he's now in the NW and ogling luscious women emerging from the sea is not' getting with the program ' could be interesting! Probably a conversation for a brother! I do like a Scottish accent though! Maybe we could have coffee when he's had a bit of theocratic education!

BTS. Do I like their music, yes. But there are 2 reasons I would like to talk to them. 1.) They are still at a young and impressionable age, especially in the Korean culture.  2.) They are open minded and seem to be easy to talk to. ^_^

I live in a temporary reality- awaiting the day I wake up to life in the real world!

I had said this in the other post:

If I met Chris Pratt in person, I'd want to tell him how commendable it is that he upholds to his Christian principles and tries not to get political, and try to give him a Witness if I could.

Thinking on it, there are quite a few others, most of whom maybe in the New System. I wonder how Niel Peart would respond if he gets resurrected.
Be nice to Micheal Jackson back on track too.

I like Steve's humour (not all of it) would like to see more of it in a New World ...

And Harrison Ford? hmmm who does not want Indiana Jones exploring jungles of Amazon in a NW with you ? LOL :crackwhip:

Nicole Kidman is not afraid to talk about her faith and belief in God. While giving an interview, she admitted she is, “spiritual in the sense that I absolutely believe in God”. (now she just needs TRUTH)

Man was created as an intelligent creature with the desire to explore and understand :)

Jon Stewart, erstwhile of The Daily Show. He is so smart, funny, insightful and seems to be genuinely sighing and groaning over the direction this system is going. He quit his very successful show because he was getting no joy out of the current events he was commenting on- and it distressed him greatly.

He needs a study so badly... 😔

Tupac Shakur. I was a big 2Pac fan growing up before the truth and he rapped and talked so passionately about injustice and poverty in his interviews that it made me really want to see him in the new world. It would be nice to be able to study with a person like that. I also would love to study with Malcom X or Martin Luther King since they had to live at a time when injustice was so rampant and would love to see persons like that experience the new world and to study with a person like that would be a bonus.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

Yeah, Keanu is a great guy.

I would like to speak to Kendrick Lamar. He just seems so different, and he sees so many things differently from his contemporaries. He's also very deep concerning life's affairs and isn't faded with fame and power. The man just needs to learn about the truth, I think.

I forgot to mention that in one of Tupac’s songs he said he was “trying to find Jehovah to help me.” That makes me want to study with him even more 🙂

Did he possibly associate with the Witnesses in the past?
It's like the lead singer of Megadeth? He was raised by Witnesses, but left, which is why I'd want to Witness to him, see if something was still in his heart.
(I don't listen to Megadeth, myself, personally, but my older brother was in a metalhead phases haha)

Not that I know of. I doubt it because I was a huge Tupac fan and read so much on him and seen just about every interview he gave and never read nor heard anything about exposure to the truth. I had to look the vocalist of Megadeth up. I didn’t know who he was. I read that he said Jehovah’s Witnesses ruined his childhood and when he was asked about Russia’s ban on the organization in 2017, he said he couldn’t care less because we ruined his childhood. (not his exact words) Hopefully he’ll have a change of heart. I have heard of the band Megadeth, though. I even saw a guy wearing a Megadeth T shirt today. I tried listening to some of their stuff years ago but didn’t like it. Their style is too 80’s for me and I don’t like 80’s style rock, with the exception of a few bands.
I had no clue the lead singer used to be the lead guitarist for Metallica. I just heard a song he played for Metallica called Phantom Lord and the part were the song slows down was so good it was Erie. Couldn’t believe how talented he was at such a young age.
I do like some metal bands like Tool, Metallica (took forever to like them), Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Bullet For My Valentine, etc.

I just have to be real selective on the metal I listen to.

I was also impressed. Then I asked myself whether or not she was being an actress with that speech.

Why would she be acting? What would be the purpose of that? And to use her own dead mother as a prop? I don't see why we need to be suspicious of people with no basis. She really has done a lot of humanitarian work...
