Am looking for a work from home Job

Recommended Posts

Gud day friends, I am really looking for a work from home Job that has a flexible schedule. Currently I and my wife are serving as need greaters in Nigeria. We have just filled DC 50 form so we can support construction efforts. But to do these things we really need a job that has a flexible schedule and we can work from home. Someone suggested doing online surveys. But I know very little about how it works. Please we need help, sudggestions and direction. If you are currently doing something like that please help a friend 😁

I have a smartphone a laptop computer and a fairly good Network. What else do I need to go

We have 3g Network here. But can you please throw more light on this teach at home idea?

I'm not sure about education system in Nigeria during pandemic... But, mostly we are doing it online now... How's meeting there? Is it done by zoom? You can teach trough zoom or other platforms... For example, an American sister is studying Chinese Mandarin through Zoom with me  and she will transfer the fee through transferwise

What languages do you speak? I have been freelancing for a company for some time now translating computer program strings as they become available.

The problem, though, is that the work is sporadic and you don’t know how much work there is available each day. Much of it is first come first served so if you’ve got many others competing for available jobs, it decreases the amount of jobs available.

For me this has by no means been enough money to make a living, but at least something on the side or to pay a couple of bills.

Edit: Also, since the content is mostly text, you don’t need super fast internet. Preferably a laptop rather than a phone/tablet, though.

Can you type really fast without mistakes? If so, there's a lot of places you can find transcription jobs.
Here's a test where you can find out your typing speed.

Yes I can type but not so fast, but am a very fast learner . But please what does a transcription job entails

usually someone sends you a recording and you type for them. I know a lot of work from home agencies have at least a few transcription jobs listed. the tricky part is sorting the legitimate jobs from the scammy listings.

That is a fun job. You’ll thrive, I’m sure. Most translation volunteers work from home these days. It is rather difficult to get into the RTO.

My team started work in the month of March. We translate from english to Isoko (an indigenous language in southern Nigeria)

You can try freelance writing. That's what I'm doing currently. There are freelancing sites where you can apply for work like Upwork. It might be hard to get work when starting but with time you can have a good flow of work.
What is it about?

im confused on this thread.  avuhe has asked about a paying job to support himself.  some have suggested translation for jehovahs organization.  how would that be a paying job>>??

It's not but he is happy with the translation job he got with the Branch.  Maybe he has left it in Jehovah's hands.

It is a good thing to put the Kingdom interests first.
