Custom search engine to Search illustrations on JW.org

Greetings.  I created the following Programmable Custom Search Engine that allows one to search
all of JW.org for illustrations based on a word or phrase:

The following is an example of how it works.

I searched for apples and found, on the first page of results, an illustration brother Alan @Meditate! was looking for:

Search results show 20 illustrations per page.

You can search in all languages.

The link again is:

http://bit.ly/SearchIllustrationsOnJwOrg

Wow, this is so fabulous! I have been waiting for this function for so long. Going to have lots of fun with this new tool. Was having so much trouble looking for the picture that Br. Alan wanted.

I entered the word "elders" and got 10 pages of images. By clicking on the image and visiting the website I am finding much information about elders as shepherds.

Apparently you can search any website for specific pictures or themes by using the following search formula on Google:

So for the jw.org website, to search "family" images you can type:

Results are only pictures of families from jw.org.

 

The "site:" search formula you can use on any website.

Yes this is basically what my custom search engine does in the background but takes you directly to the Image tab and removes the extra Google stuff allowing the pictures / illustrations to show up faster 😁

Great tip   I entered the word for chart in Spanish, "gráfico" and got lots of excelent charts 😁
