JW Event app 4.0?

So I browsed the App Store for apps made by Jehovah’s Witnesses (referencing from the JW library app creator) and found that there is an update to the JW Event app. I realise we discussed this app earlier as it is for international conventions and their delegates, but I find it interesting what the change log says – what do you think? Launching the app just shows a blank screen for me.

Unfortunately the update in reality is not as interesting as it sounds. I had the app before as I was a delegate to one of the 2019 international conventions. I had a personal account that contained information about the convention and had photos, articles etc.

 

Since the update it’s just gone back to this generic page:

 

 

As we won’t be having any special conventions until 2023 at the earliest, there is nothing to display. And if we do end up having special conventions then, we probably won’t find out about it for another year and a half. So the app is kind of defunct at the moment.

Same here.  I wish we could still log on and download or view materials for the convention we went to!  I did download a lot to my PC before we went to the Paris one, but I don't think I was able to get all of it before the info disappeared.
