Creating a JW Library Backup on Chromebook?

I have a Chomebook, and it's almost perfect for my use, except for one limit: The JW Library App.

 

Chromebooks allow Android Apps, including the library.

 

I can restore a backup of my notes and highlights to the Chromebook, so I can transfer everything from my other devices there... But I can't *create* a backup, so any notes I make on the Chromebook are limited to there.

 

Now, i suspect this is a limitation of an Android app having to *make* something on the Chromebook drive. But I'm not sure if that's a setting I can change.

 

Anyone had this problem? More importantly, has anyone fixed this problem?

When I try to create a backup on my Lenovo Chromebook Duet, it automatically attaches it to an e-mail for me to send. I'd rather have a Share option and be able to put it into Google Drive, but at least on mine, it appears functional.
