Equipd / I silo

 Thought of installing equipd. 

 does anybody use this..

 if yes where would I get the files .

is this better than a silo

Equipd was a nice app and it did things for Ipad users that are lacking in the JW Library app.  It has been unavailable for download for quite a while.

Isilo was more rudimentary as an application but included most of what was on the WTL DVD.  It was discontinued in 2013.

 

The older versions continue to work (in most cases) but the upgrading of the Operating Systems put them at risk.  And there will be no technical updates available.

But I see a equipd app in AppStore.

There is an Equipd Bible app which is supported. It is actually very good - I use it a lot.  I find it easier to make notes in and also to display more than one language simultaneously is great for anyone serving in a foreign language field.

 

It is also quicker at finding scriptures to follow along in a talk.

Oh I think I know what’s happening here; some people here are talking about the original (years ago) Equipd and some of us are talking about Equipd Bible. Please keep in mind these are two different apps from the same developer. 
 

It’s true that the original is gone. But Equipd Bible is still available for purchase and it is only for reading Bibles (including the revised NWT). I use this on my iPhone because it takes up much less space than JW Library, and then I use the website (WOL) for everything else.

Br. Dilip was comparing it to Isilo so i thought he meant the entire publications collection (old Equipd) instead of just the Bible....Sorry for the confusion.

No brother, I was talking about the old app only. So as you said it was gone I was wondering what was this available app all about.

@dilip kumar the Equipd Bible, which is still available, is not like the WT Library. 
 

The iSilo app + wtpub files is more similar to WOL except that it hasn't been updated since 2013!! So the publications it has stop at that year.

I have used isilo on android and have the files brother.

Had heard about equipd. So thought of installing it on my iPad. But found it was not there. So I was enquiring about it.
